Judging, how many, who to involve?

You will need to complete 10 judgements per recording as per normal. Every judgement will be a moderation judgement involving pupils who are not from your school. The judging is likely to be more intensive than usual so do include colleagues. Each judgement is likely to take a minimum of 2 minutes. This is a lot longer than it takes to judge writing, which is why we've recommended only assessing 5 students. If you are planning to upload more than 5 responses, please be aware of the time it will take to judge and make sure you have enough time and teachers. As an example, if you upload 5 responses, you will need to do 50 judgements. If each judgement takes 2 minutes, that's 100 minutes.

Judging, criteria?

Our purpose is to work with you to co-create what good oracy is, so please simply judge on what you think good oracy is.

Judging link

Use the normal judging link within your task.

Reporting & feedback, what will I get?

You will get the normal feedback, with the caveat this is a self selected sample within each school. We will keep you updated on the wider research as we analyse the results.
